Cafe Zecchino specializes in classic British fare, offering a delightful menu that includes beloved dishes such as fish & chips, which are perfectly crispy and accompanied by a rich curry sauce, and the homemade steak pie, known for its tender meat and flaky crust. If you're craving pasta, the macaroni cheese and penne arrabbiata are both crowd-pleasers, satisfying those comfort food cravings. For pizza lovers, the 10” oven-baked pizza promises a delightful crunch, a true testament to the craft of pizza-making that local customers rave about.

The friendly and attentive staff create a welcoming environment that enhances the dining experience. As one customer, Alan Hughes, noted, "The staff are very attentive but not annoying," ensuring that you feel both looked after and at ease during your visit. And with a selection of soft drinks, tea, coffee, and even small glasses of wine, there's something for everyone to sip on while enjoying their meal.

The ambience might be simple, but it's imbued with a welcoming warmth that encourages you to settle in, whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway or dining in. Cafe Zecchino isn't just about the food; it's about community and connection. It's a place where you can enjoy a hearty meal and share a laugh with friends or family, creating memories over a plate of chips and curry or a slice of pizza. With a consistent history of satisfied patrons like Debbie McColl, who insists on the excellence of their special fish suppers, you can rest assured that your choice to dine at Cafe Zecchino will not disappoint.

So, whether you're a local or just passing through Glasgow, make sure to drop by Cafe Zecchino. Treat yourself to a meal that feels like a warm hug, and leave with not just a satisfied appetite but also a smile, knowing you’ve discovered one of Glasgow's hidden gems.

Most excellent pizza, and chips and curry sauce. Fast and friendly service. This is for the takeaway but I'm sure the restaurant is as good.

Surprised this place gets some negative reviews. We regularly get special fish suppers from Cafe Zecchino, and have done for years. We’ve never had a bad meal, or a better chippie anywhere else.

The space was so old and you don’t feel its a warm and cozy feeling in the space you have, but people worked there were so friendly and nice the quality of food were okay and I’m not regret to be there .Im happy to try for one time.

Sat in to enjoy some brunch at the weekend. Reasonably priced lunch time items and lots of choice. Within our group we had pancakes with bacon, chips and curry and toasties. Friendly service as always while sitting in.
